Jimmy Kirkpatrick is known as the father of Mike Tyson. 

Mike is a former professional boxer and a heavyweight champion.

Mike revealed in his autobiography about his father being a mystery for him and his siblings. 

He said that he did not know much about his father or his family. 

He further added that Percel Tyson, who was a Jamaican cab driver, was named as his father in his birth certificate. 

But the problem was neither did he nor did his siblings ever meet him in person. 

They were all told that Jimmy 'Curlee' Kirkpatrick Jr. was their biological father, but again, he was barely present for them.

So conclusively, Mike stated that Percel Tyson married their mother Lorna Smith, but Jimmy was their biological father who passed away in 1992. 

Lorna died when Mike was 16 years old, and her cause of death was cancer. 

He was then legally adopted by legendary trainer Cus D'Amato.

Mike made his professional career debut in boxing when he was 18 years old. 

Soon, he won the heavyweight championship at age 20 and was titled the youngest heavyweight champion. 

He is also known as Iron Mike due to his playing style. 

Tyson ended his boxing career with 50 wins in 58 fights, in which 44 wins were through knock-out.

He was found guilty of rape and deviant sexual conduct. 

Tyson was sent to prison in 1992 and was ordered to serve six years in prison, which he handled poorly by threatening a guard, eventually adding 15 more days to his sentence. 

Tyson spent three years in prison and did a come-back in 1995.

Mike tied the wedding knot thrice in his lifetime. He is the biological father of seven children from three women. 

His first marriage was with actress Robin Givens which lasted for a year from 1988 to 1989 because of spousal abuse and mental instability. 

Tyson then walked down the aisle with Monica Turner in 1997 and split in 2003, claiming Mike's infidelity. 

The pair shares a son and a daughter. 

Mike then wed for the third time with his long-term girlfriend, Lakiha Spicer, in 2009 and shares two children.

Tyson's daughter, Exodus Tyson, who was four-year-old at that time, was found unconscious and tangled in a cord dangled from an exercise treadmill on May 25, 2009. 

Her seven-year-old brother, Miguel Leon Tyson, saw her and called their mother. 

Her mother, Sol Xochitl, untangled her and called for medical attention. 

Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the incident and returned when he heard the news. 

Exodus died of her injury on May 26, 2009.
